Job Description

Chief Mate Job Summary
We are seeking a Chief Mate to be responsible ensuring safe operation for the crew and vessel while moving from one site to another.
Chief Mate Responsibilities

Operate as Master of a self-propelled research vessel
Ensure smooth operations of the administration, navigation, and maintenance of the vessel
Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of vessel equipment
Oversee a team of deckhands and provide training when needed

Chief Mate Position Requirements

Resume w/ applicable experience
MMC w/ Chief Mate endorsement
USCG Medical
TWIC
Passport
