We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer with a focus on Civil or Environmental Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and execute a variety of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves working closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

• Project Management:

  • Plan, design, and oversee civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely and within-budget completion.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance on civil and environmental engineering projects, including site development, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation.
  • Prepare engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and environmental studies.

• Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications and other regulatory documentation.
  • Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews of project sites and work completed by subcontractors.
  • Address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Client and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to clients and management.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• EIT or Professional Engineer is preferred
• 3-7 years of experience working on civil engineering projects, preferably in a project engineer role.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering software tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, HydroCAD, etc.).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
