Summary:

As a Technical and Content Writer, you will be responsible for the technical and content writing at Core Sound Imaging, Inc. The Technical and Content Writer will be a member of the marketing team and will learn to be an expert in all aspects of our products and brand. You will be tasked with writing compelling technical content to engage and educate prospective and existing clients. With your excellent working knowledge of our products, you will also use your writing skills to create other content for the education of users and customer-facing team members. Additional challenges will include thorough documentation of internal processes, training guides and other tools. The position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Create content that is consistent with the tone and voice of the Core Sound Imaging brand.
• Understands overall features and developing an advanced comprehension of all company products.
• Become a subject matter expert and understand the values and use cases that are important to the market.
• Structure work product so it is both appealing and readable.
• Create content for various inbound and outbound marketing efforts including, but not limited to website content, product manuals, employee training manuals, editorial and blog content etc.
• Proofreading, maintaining, and editing content to ensure an accurate representation of product features and functionality, compliance with brand voice, and correct grammar, syntax, and spelling.
• Responsible for managing controlled documents.
• Develop new documentation and maintain existing documentation, for both internal and external audiences.
• Having the ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, while meeting deadlines consistently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Technical communication, English, Journalism or equivalent
• Advanced writing skills with a strong background in technical writing
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills - ability to interface and influence at multiple organization levels
• Experience with document control/versioning and/or digital asset management
• PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Medical imaging and/or EMR knowledge a plus
• SEO knowledge/experience a plus
