The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Lead will be instrumental to our transformational automation program delivery across the organization. This leader would work alongside teams throughout the Business, Operations and IT, to develop and implement Intelligent Automation Solutions. This role will lead in process identification, in building & prioritizing roadmap and driving delivery through the automation team to meet goals & key performance metrics set.
About the role
We want to hear from you today if you can:
  • Play a key role in business process improvement reviews to identify opportunities where automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for our business and operations.
  • Play a key role in building an automation roadmap and driving its delivery through a team of RPA developers.
  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day to day running of any robotic processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required - provide the team assistance with error handling, exceptions, and debugging.
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the business to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions.
  • Work closely with the relevant technology (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism and Pega Robotics) and product teams on program strategy and setup.
  • Distribute Intelligent automation development knowledge throughout the business; lead and coach teams in other departments in developing intelligent automation processes that adhere to development standards and procedures.
  • Support Automation developers through the lifecycle of their automation projects and ensure they deliver within agreed timeframe, this involves:
    • Support with reviews when required.
    • Ensure they set deadlines working with key partners, assign responsibilities and communicate this in a timely manner.
    • Ensure they perform risk and issue management to minimize project risks and issues.
    • Ensure the team follows our governance framework, so all automation projects are driven, managed, and controlled in an effective manner to expected standards.
    • People manage the Automation developers - guide, coach and steer team to help them develop skills & ultimately progress.
    • Collaborate closely with global automation team at Corebridge Financial on emerging technologies and innovative solutions.

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in IT preferred or related work experience.
  • 12 years of experience working with automation technologies especially Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, PowerAutomate or Pega Robotics.
  • 18 years of IT experience.
  • 5 years of experience working at leading a team or Automation practice.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and deploying automations/bots in a cloud first organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing and deploying large enterprise automation solutions.
  • Able to ascertain business requirements, research and identify solutions, and make recommendations supported by a properly developed business case that includes technical feasibility, costs, benefits, etc.
  • Able to develop and execute project / deployment plans that meet scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Able to quickly assess, mitigate risk, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues using industry standard tools.
  • Able to develop processes and documentation according to the needs of the organization.
  • Able to provide technical leadership and strategic direction in alignment within the automation team and with firm objectives.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships throughout the organization and with vendors.
  • Able to collaborate and influence others, to include peers, leaders, and vendors.
  • Able to mentor and build the technical skills of others, and foster a strong and collaborative team environment.
  • Support BAU, operations and incidents as required.
  • Champions innovation and leads change.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and participate in large, complex, and concurrent projects.
  • Able to lead small groups in the delivery of technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project management concepts & operate in an agile methodology.
  • Detail oriented and possess excellent research skills
