About the Role:

CoreWeave is seeking a diligent IT Specialist to be responsible for managing daily Internal IT operations of the CoreWeave. This candidate is responsible for delivering high quality, repeatable and sustainable IT & reliability related support to the organization. This person will be an individual contributor to start, and will also play a critical role in setting up, maintaining and decommissioning IT accounts, VDI infrastructure, IT hardware, user workstations, office technology, setting up software, tools and related access for company use and resolving all IT support issues. The IT Specialist will report directly to the IT Support Manager at CoreWeave.

Your Role:

  • Resolving all employee related issues with their IT systems, hardware and software; escalating issues when they arise.
  • Ability to provide solutions to complex issues; handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; set priorities; meet deadlines per project scope.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of our computer network and employee IT assets.
  • Assisting with and eventually owning the employee onboarding and offboarding processes - including initiation of employee accounts, setup, distribution and removal of IT hardware & software assets.
  • Ability to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management, good technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, attention to detail “white glove service” and exceptional follow-through.
  • Learn new technologies/toolsets as part of the job responsibilities

Your Experience:

  • Previous work experience with IT or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Degree in computer science or a related field is preferable
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication ability, both written and verbal
  • Personable, professional demeanor
  • On-site office support at least 4 days per week

Nice-to-haves:

  • Mail Administrator experience
  • IdP Administrator experience
  • Kubernetes experience is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of IT office network topology and physical setup
  • Intermediate cyber security tools such as EDR, Email Security and MDM tools
  • Understanding of YAML language for coding/scripting
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and basic understanding of its use

CoreWeave is a fast growth startup, and you are flexible and responsive to the demands of our dynamic environment. Internal IT plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal business performance. There will be a required weekend rotational shift 8AM-5PM PST/9AM-6PM CST which will be required around once per month. There may be times where the IT Support Specialist will need to be available outside of regular business hours to support critical issues or meetings. The team operates in different shifts to support our expanding presence shifts will fall between 8AM-5PM local time, with shifts between up until our late shift of 2PM-11PM local time, which will also be on rotation.x

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000-$75,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
