Essential Functions
- Supports the overall governance structure and collaboration of standard work surrounding Corewell Health governing bodies
- Plans and executes the creation of the quarterly boardbook collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Functions as the main point of contact for any questions and provides guidance on governance processes and procedures for Corewell Health West
- Maintains governance resources and materials pertaining to boards and committees
- Sets standards and supports necessary tasks related to board and committee onboarding and orientation
- Creates and maintains templates and standard work as needed for board governance operations
- Regularly provides guidance, direction and mentorship to peers and leaders across the organization, pertaining to board governance.
- Collaborates with team on all tasks related to board portal optimization
- Leads a minimum of at least one board governance center of excellence as the subject matter expert for Corewell Health
- Maintains relationships with colleagues across the organization and the country in order to develop and exchange best practices
- Plans and executes an annual board governance regional symposium

- Three years of relevant experience in the capacity of a senior-level assistant to executives in a large organization
