We are seeking a highly motivated Media Production Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in media production, including working with advanced media asset management systems, preparing for shoots, and organizing equipment and visual effects (VFX) assets.

Responsibilities

- Ingesting Footage: Efficiently ingest raw footage into our Media Asset Management (MAM) system, ensuring all metadata is accurately entered and organized for easy retrieval.

- Pre & Post Production Assistance: Assist in preparing for shoots, which includes but is not limited to, scheduling, coordinating equipment, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready and available; Assist with light editing tasks.

- Equipment Organization: Take responsibility for organizing and maintaining all production equipment. Ensure everything is accounted for, in good working order, and ready for use.

- VFX Assets Organization: Work closely with the VFX team to organize and catalog VFX assets within our system. This includes tagging, tracking, and ensuring all assets are readily accessible for current and future projects.

- VFX Workflows - Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard 3D design and animation software; Learn about architectural visualization techniques and workflows.

- On-Set Assistance: Provide on-set support during shoots, assisting with setup and breakdown, managing equipment, and other duties as required to ensure smooth production flow.

- Collaboration and Learning: Collaborate with various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the production process. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflow and production quality.

- AI/XR - Research and compile inspirational reference materials for project development.Explore the cutting edge of design: Have the opportunity to dabble with Virtual Reality (VR) experiences and experiment with real-time engines like Unreal Engine.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant program (Film, Media Production, Digital Arts, etc.).

- A strong interest in media production, with a keen eye for detail and organization.

- Basic knowledge of media production equipment and software.

- Familiarity with VFX processes and asset management systems is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Excellent communication and time-management skills.

- Must be proactive, eager to learn, and willing to take on multiple tasks.
