Corinthian Yacht Club is a private club located on historic Marblehead Harbor. We are hiring a full-time, year-round Facilities and Maintenance Manager. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will perform facilities work and custodial duties, as well as manage our Facilities team. This person will ensure that the highest standards of sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics are always met by members, guests, employees, and vendors. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will work closely with the General Manager in determining the facilities' needs including contracting outside vendors for electrical, plumbing, painting, and general construction jobs.

Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage and participate in the daily operations of cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
  • Oversee the proper function of the facility systems- mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, and fire safety.
  • Perform basic construction, maintenance and repair work including wood, trim, roofing, metal.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the outdoor swimming pool complex.
  • Set up and tear down furniture for Club functions.
  • Manage the training, weekly schedule, and payroll for the small Facilities team,
  • Work with the Plant and Facilities committee to develop a strategic long-term capital improvement plan.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Successful experience managing a team
  • Experience in Facilities Maintenance, Hospitality preferred
  • Some trade experience preferred
  • Certified Pool Operators licensure, strongly preferred.
  • Basic computers skills, including Microsoft Office applications and other Club software
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Weekend, evening and holiday shifts are required.

Pay: Based on experience and licensure/certifications
