Summary

The Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon is seeking full-time and part-time bartenders for our members bar. We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders who exceed customers’ needs and expectations to provide our members with an excellent drinking experience.

· Are you tired of working until 2:00am? Then this bartending position is for you!

· Full time with benefits and PTO.

· Wednesday through Sunday 2:30pm to 10:30pm, some overtime on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the bar menu.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
• Check customers’ identification to confirm the legal drinking age.

· Establish a rapport with members, guests, and colleagues.

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.

· Properly and accurately close guest checks.

• Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, assist with weekly product orders.

· Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcohol, and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

Skills

• Exceptional knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

· Strong customer satisfaction and people skills

· Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment

• Experience with Point-of-Sale systems.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.

Requirements

· Previous experience as a bartender

• Relevant training certificate

· Valid California RBS Certificate or equivalent
