**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting the overall success of our restaurant.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet and serve customers in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

- Operate the cash register and manage customer payments, including handling cash and credit transactions, making change, and processing sales tax.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed.

- Upsell and promote our menu items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Use Aloha POS to manage orders, track inventory, and process transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of retail math and sales principles to make informed decisions about pricing and promotions.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in the food industry.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred.

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.

- Basic math skills and the ability to make change accurately.

- Familiarity with food industry standards and practices is an asset.

- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed.

- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
