We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Multi Craft Technician in our Mountaintop, PA manufacturing location for 3rd Shift (11:00 pm to 7:00 am)

Summary:

This employee must be proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, fabrication, bearing maintenance, basic rigging, light machining, and proficient troubleshooting. This candidate should be proficient in hydraulic schematics. This candidate should be able to evaluate and adjust shear burrs, slitter's, replacing roll mill tooling and basic die operations. They should have a minimum 5 plus years’ experience with hydraulics and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

• This employee will be assigned work in the Preventive Maintenance areas, Projects, and machine breakdowns as required.
• This employee will need to complete work assignments in the Maintenance “work order/ PM” system.
• This employee will work in a safe guarded manor for their safety and the safety of all others. They will follow all LOTO rules of Clopay and adhere to instructions from other Maintenance employees.
• This employee will conduct themselves in a manner that supports a “Ship, Shipmate, Self” concept where team work is key to our success.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, maintained, and orderly condition.
• Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures. Report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Perform other job-related duties and activities as needed.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Experience with hydraulics and basic electrical troubleshooting
• 2 plus years experience in Manufacturing Maintenance
• Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, etc.
• Proficient at using a digital volt meter and amp meter
• Proficient in PC’s and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
• Close, distance, and peripheral vision.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to discern colors and adjust focus.

Qualifications:

• Education: S. Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience: 2 plus years experience in Manufacturing
• Licenses/Certification: Crane and Forktrucks
