Cornell Forge Chicago Facility is Hiring a CNC Lathe Operator Near Chicago, IL

Job Overview:

We are looking for someone that works hard and is experienced to join our staff on 3rd shift. Pay is entirely based on experience. In exchange for your hard work, we offer excellent benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K with company match, paid holidays, vacation, flexible spending, and much more!

As a CNC Lathe Operator, you'll need to be able to set up and operate a CNC Lathe, know how to use machinist tools for measuring and indicating workpieces, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and have a mathematical aptitude.

Other qualifications include being able to use various hand tools, being able to work on your own without much supervision, being able to finish setup sheets, and possessing computer skills in order to transfer program files to the appropriate workstation.

Machining/tooling experience are a must. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, organized, and can work well with others as well as work well independently.
