Position Summary:
Supervises total catering operations in one unit. This position includes duties such as catering order taking, driver scheduling, catering production and preparation, general cleanliness and organization of the catering department. The Catering Supervisor works with outside customers and directly communicates with guests daily.
As the Catering Supervisor you will supervise the preparation, presentation and service of our great food. The catering supervisor interacts closely with catering and retail employees as well as the restaurant managers.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Accepts and modifies orders over the phone using POS
•Enters online orders into POS
•Resolves guest concerns with Manager approval
•Assigns deliveries to catering employees
•Begins and completes baking/food preparation
•Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls
•Makes deliveries by vehicle and/or by foot
•Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation
•Responsible for clean up duties
•Empties trash as required
•Responsible for distributing catering tips daily
•Executes Catering Sales Initiatives as necessary, including but not limited to:
•Daily customer call backs
•Menu drops
•Community event coordination and execution
•Menu presentations and food tastings
•Identifying sales leads through active territory canvassing; ie: cold calling
Secondary Functions; Expo Duties, Cashier, Dishwasher, Line Cook

•Maintain abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
•Check bathrooms

•Prepare food to spec and order request
•Responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions
•Prepare and organize food for delivery to guest
Job Specifications and Requirements:
•High School diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
•Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers’ license with insurance
•State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
•Preferably a minimum of 3 months work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
•Proficient in MS Office environment and POS systems
•Possess strong guest service and communication skills..
•Must be able to read, write and speak English
•Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
