Cornerstone Recruiting is Hiring a Product Manager Near Stevensville, MD

Stevensville, MDAs the Product Manager, you will report to the Engineering Sales Support Manager and be a key player in driving improvements that deliver world class customer experience. You will have the ability to influence numerous components of our evolving and growing business.
Responsibilities:
  • Possess ability to quickly assess and diagnose technical issues and develop a root-causes analysis of the problem
  • Coordinate general needs from local distributors to management to further advance sales goals
  • Provide general support to all aspects of the organization to promote greater sales and levels of customer satisfaction
  • Research and obtain user insights and unmet user needs to drive product innovations and enhancements to improve the customer experience
  • Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Tech Support and International Product Manager to launch new products and manage existing products
  • Build internal and external road-maps for delivering successful products in the marketplace
  • Develop deep understanding of market needs, competition, product features and applications
  • Quantify and track results to implement continuous improvements to enhance the customer experience
  • Serve as interface between the market and manufacturer to increase customer satisfaction
  • Provide product sales training on product application and benefits, sales pitch and strategy
  • Monitor product quality and production related issues, and support technical service and sales team to resolve the issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or other technical disciplines
  • Understanding of civil, electrical, or structural disciplines is a plus
  • 5 years of product development experience with an understanding of the product lifecycle
  • 5 years of working in a sales oriented and equipment manufacturing environment
  • Experience with introducing new products and upgrades
  • Experience owning and driving a product roadmap
  • Experience performing customer research to obtain relevant customer insights
  • Preferably an understanding of B2B based products
