We are currently looking for a an experience Project Manager with Food/Beverage industry project experience. This is preferred. We would also like to find someone that has worked in the design build arena.
Our Client has 34 years' experience in the Design/Build of food and beverage processing and distribution facilities throughout the country. Our Client will provide you with opportunities to grow your expertise and take on new challenges. Our Client promotes an independent work environment that values results over structured methodology in all sides of the design and construction process. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation at construction site(s) and functions as the company representative to ensure customer satisfaction.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Design/Build process for food distribution and food processing facilities
- Prepare subcontractor RFP/scope of work
- Secure, vet and level subcontractor pricing
- Negotiate subcontracts
- Secure governmental approvals for the projects
- Finalize design details with clients, design team and outside consultants
- Establish and manage the project schedule
- Manage our Clients field staff
- Manage project cost
- Train and develop field personnel and assistant project managers
- Construction Management Degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Construction Project Manager role
- Proficiency required in appropriate systems, including but not limited to Procore, AutoCAD, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, possess comfort while multi-tasking, and show strong follow-up skills
- Ability to interact and work closely with team members in a busy environment under pressure
- Excellent communication and interrelationship skills
