Job Summary: Cornerstone is seeking multiple Security Specialists responsible for researching, analyzing, and updating criminal history databases. This role involves identifying and correcting errors in criminal indexing submissions, biometric collections, and dispositions. Security Specialists will review, assess, and archive administrative and criminal history incidents and investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on criminal history databases, statistics, and reports.
- Identify and rectify errors in criminal indexing submissions, biometric collections, and dispositions.
- Review, assess, and archive administrative and criminal history incidents and investigations.
- Utilize Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) for law enforcement tasks.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Minimum of 3 to 15 years of relevant and specialized experience in law enforcement or criminal justice.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in CJIS and related law enforcement systems.
- Candidates must have and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
