Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dosage Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering methadone doses to patients, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer methadone doses to patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document patient response to medication.
• Provide patient education regarding methadone treatment, including potential side effects and the importance of adherence to the prescribed regimen.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient interactions and dosages.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Maryland.
• Experience in addiction treatment or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
