POSITION: Human Resources Generalist
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources (Gillis Campus)
Starting Salary: $45,000- $55,000 (Annually)
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The HR Generalist performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may fulfill responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action, and employment equity programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting Talent Specialist in creating requisitions, monitoring, and updating status as needed, supporting leadership planning and response to feedback through various sources including surveys, suggestions, and employee advisory groups, and maintaining all personnel files in electronic format and completes audits when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and PHR certification. Minimum requirements include a High school diploma or GED, and 2 to 5 years of related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
