Corporate Consulting Associates, Inc. is an Executive search firm that has been retained to recruit a "high potential" Financial Controller for a career growth opportunity.

Our Client, is a specialized manufacturer of custom precision products for a Blue Chip customer base including Aerospace, Defense, Energy, and High-tech industrial companies. They are a well established, 40 year-old privately owned company with forecasted revenues of $20 million.

OVERVIEW & PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Reports to both the President (dotted line) & Chief Financial Officer.
• Responsible for all accounting & finance responsibilities. strategic financial planning & reporting, and risk management.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct regular account analysis and reconciliations.
• Manage the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Guide/support/participate in decision-making on capital investment/process improvements.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen who will provide the financial guidance as this company moves to its next phase of expansion with new competitive challenges.

ON-SITE to HYBRID WORKPLACE:

• For the first 9-12 months, we prefer that this professional is in Jacksonville, FL office 4-5 days per week since this is a highly interactive environment where hands-on leadership is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or professional accounting certification (CPA) preferred, not required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized manufacturing company.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Cost accounting experience required; preferably, job cost.
• Proficient in using ERP software.
• Familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP) and strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams, and leadership success over a wide variety of business problems.
