Our client, a world-class manufacturer and global leader in the industry, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Senior Consolidation Analyst based at their Cleveland, Ohio location (Mayfield Heights).

Your job responsibilities include:

Timely completion of the global consolidation.

Collaborate with divisions to manage intricate intercompany balancing.

Provide report details, analysis, and explanations to support the external reporting function.

Monitor and regulate the company's application system and closure process.

Train and promote wider adoption of the company's application system across the organization.

Supervise the accounting for the corporate plane and associated tax reporting.

Maintain reporting and models for more intricate accounting areas.

Assist internal and external audits by providing or reviewing requested schedules.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all assigned accounting projects.

Necessary skills, experience and credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA highly preferred.

7-10 years related experience, with preferably 2 years in auditing.

Knowledge of US GAAP, ability to research accounting topics and apply this knowledge to company transactions.

Understanding of consolidation principles and foreign currency accounting rules. Knowledge of internal controls to support Sarbanes Oxley adherence and testing.

Knowledge of finance systems and ability to easily work with them from a user and maintenance standpoint.

Skilled user of Microsoft Excel and ability to adapt to new computer systems.
