Now Hiring a Bilingual Medical Assistant(MA) for a busy medical practice. Must be able to work full time.

The MA is part of a team that synchronizes patient, clinician, equipment, supplies, educational materials and records to insure a successful and valuable visit.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Patient care responsibilities may include: COVID-19 sample collection, checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam or procedure rooms; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfer, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc.; collecting patient history; performing screenings per provider guidelines; assisting clinicians with various procedures; charting all patient interactions and correspondence; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering calls and providing pertinent information; and completing refills.
• Clerical responsibilities may include: obtaining lab/x-ray reports, referral information, etc.; completing forms/requisitions as needed; scheduling appointments; verifying patient demographics; managing charts to ensure information is competed and filed appropriately.
• Exam room responsibilities may include: Assisting provider with TeleVisit, performing and recording tests, setting up instruments and equipment according to protocol; cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control; cleaning sterilizer according to scheduled maintenance program and keeping appropriate records; ordering, sorting, storing supplies; restocking exam/procedure rooms;

EDUCATION: High School diploma. Medical Assistant certification with some college preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Prefer minimum of one year experience as a Medical Assistant; all interested applicants are welcome to apply!
