CorTrust Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Assistant in Brooklyn Park, Blaine, or the surrounding communities!

As a Loan Assistant, incumbents will contribute to CorTrust's business objectives bysupporting loan officers in the lending process. They will collect, maintain, and review documentation and be a point of contact for customer and internal questions and must be able to communicate professionally across a broad range of departments and roles.

Daily duties for this position: 

• Maintain knowledge of regulatory change and complete relevant training to ensure compliance with lending regulations and Bank policies.
• Understand and support loan officers in all steps of the lending process, including document management, customer communications, credit reporting support functions, repayment parameters, and processing payoffs. 
• Accurately process time-sensitive disclosures according to regulatory requirements and review documents to ensure proper completion and retention.
• Confidently and courteously communicate with customers and internal partners to resolve issues and respond to inquiries.
• Process loan denials and loan application withdrawals.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• This is an on-site position, so ability to work onsite in Mound or a nearby location is required.
