Corvid is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Contracts team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the closeout process for contracts and subcontracts - ensuring compliance with internal procedures and government regulations, subcontractor engagement and collaboration, and supporting senior contract administrators as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, have strong Excel skills, and adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
Analyze current closeout workloads and procedures, and then identify, develop, and implement process improvements that result in a more efficient, accurate, and compliant closeout process with enhanced analytic reporting capabilities.
Provide advice to internal stakeholders, including program managers and division leaders, regarding contract / subcontract closeout administration and deliver executive level management and oversight to the contract / subcontract closeout process.
Review contracts for cradle-to-grave close out actions.
Support the Contract Administration team in the pre, post, and closeout of contract files. Attend meetings with the Contracts Administration and / or Program Management team for the designated contract as needed.
Maintain awareness of technical efforts and progress.
Possess the ability to work independently with minimal training and oversight.
Provide day to day management and administration of multiple highly complex classified programs of varying contract types.
Act as primary interface for the contracts team with program managers and external customers (Contracting Officers / Contract Specialists or Subcontract Managers).
Support and interface with internal organizations (Finance, Engineering, Executive Leadership, Operations, Pricing) in the daily administration and proposal process.
Create and negotiate Proprietary Information Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
Ensure contract compliance while maintaining complete and current contract files within the areas of contract set-up, deliverables, invoice tracking, cash collection, internal / external reporting, and audits.
Required Skills :
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Prior experience in contract / subcontract closeout preferred but not required.
Strong desire to learn and the ability to adapt quickly is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Contracts, Business Administration,
Supply Chain Management, or related areas.
