Exciting Opportunity: Senior Fund Accountant
CORY is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant who is passionate and driven about multifamily real estate, ready to innovate and make a real impact every day.
About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established multifamily owner, operator, and investor with over 20,000 apartment homes nationwide. As leaders in multifamily real estate investment, this is an opportunity to learn from and work alongside top-tier industry professionals.
Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual reports to share with management.
- Review and approve monthly financial statements prepared by vendors.
- Maintain and analyze all accounting records.
- Prepare all interim and year-end audit work papers.
- Prepare and submit all financial and compliance reports to lenders and partners.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to internal departments promptly.
- Prepare interim and year-end tax compliance, audit, and tax work papers.
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields.
- Experience in working in the multifamily industry.
- Proficient in Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
