Midland University, a private, Christian, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant - Sports Information Specialist.

This position will be offered within our graduate assistant structure, requiring admission to the University's Master of Education, Master of Science Learning and Talent Development, Master of Science and Sports Administration and Leadership, or Master of Business Administration programs. The candidate will be responsible for writing game/event summaries, creating press releases, game statistics, producing athletics publications, record keeping, and other tasks or duties. The position offers tuition remission from the University with the possibility of a monthly stipend and an on-campus meal plan (dependent on the degree pursued).

•Game day management
•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
•A bachelor's degree (Communications/Journalism, Sports Management, or similar preferred)
•Excellent organizational skills
•Ability to multitask
•Good interpersonal communication skills

Additional Desired Qualifications:
•Previous experience in an athletic communications office setting
•Experience as a writer, journalist, yearbook editor, or similar
•Video filming and editing experience
•Adobe Creative Suite software experience (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
•PrestoStats and/or StatCrew software experience
