COSM is Hiring a Training Coordinator Near Inglewood, CA

Summary:We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Training Coordinator to join the inaugural Cosm Los Angeles venue at Hollywood Park. The position is focused on supporting our venue and ensuring that all training activities are conducted smoothly and have a business impact. The ideal candidate will have experience in training delivery and facilitation, developing training materials, using technology to facilitate learning, monitoring training compliance, and tracking training for the venue. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development. Responsibilities:Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of training sessions at the Cosm venue for management and hourly Team Members, including New Hire Orientation.Hold regular and consistent training sessions and orientations for new Team Members.Work closely with the venue management team to ensure that all training requirements are met, and new hire training is executed consistently. This includes coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and partnering with management to resolve any issues that may arise.Apply foundational learning theories to enhance the effectiveness of training design, delivery, and facilitation.Use instructional design models and processes when developing training materials and programs. Develop and update training materials as needed. This includes presentations, handouts, and other instructional materials.Manage and complete tasks related to training, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records using the Learning Management System.Monitor and follow up on compliance training to meet state and federal requirements. Become proficient to answer HR related questions and participate on team projects. Experience:Bachelor’s Degree Preferred2 to 4 years of experience in training in design, development, and delivery required.Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or venue operations preferred.Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Articulate 360.Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.Experience as a training facilitator with a track record of impactful and effective program delivery.Strong attention to detail and advanced preparation. Excellent organizational skills are a must.Ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time both individually and through cross-functional teams.Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $70,000 - $90,000. The base salary offered will factor in job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
