Overview:  We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst reports directly to the CFO and will play a critical role in providing financial insights and projections to support strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing results and variances
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting activities for both legacy locations and acquisition opportunities

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Be responsible for the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts to be rolled forward and updated as necessary
• Work with third party vendors to incorporate QofE’s for acquisitions into the Company’s financial modeling and budgeting process
• Coordinate with all locations and key shareholders to gather and validate data
• Provide variance analysis and explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts Review actual results to identify opportunities
• Monitor and manage company capital planning and spend

Strategic Planning: Support CFO in long-term financial planning and strategy formulation on key strategic initiatives

Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain and improve KPI tracking databases and 13 week cash flow and systems for accuracy and efficiency
• Assist in the development and management of new reporting and analysis tools for performance monitoring
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Work with the rest of the finance organization to evaluate acquisitions and De Novo performance including setting appropriate future growth targets

Business Performance Analysis:

• Analyze key business drivers and operational metrics
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance profitability

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with accounting, operations, and local site management to gather information and support financial initiatives
• Communicate financial concepts and results to non-financial stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus but not required

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related field
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools)
