Cosmic Robotics is a robotics startup developing autonomous construction technologies to accelerate Earth’s transition to renewable infrastructures and to expand humanity beyond Earth. The mission starts with the development of autonomous solar farm construction robots which will help install the 600 million solar panels planned to be installed in utility-scale solar farms by 2030 in the United States. Cosmic-1 is a fully autonomous outdoor construction robot capable of navigating solar construction sites and autonomously installing solar panels at over 10x faster rates than human workers, a critical technology needed to achieve the US’s aggressive renewable infrastructure goals.
