We are looking for a new ideal team player as an Assembler in our Assembly department! The Assembler position is responsible for performing repetitive work at the workstation or line-assembly operations to produce products until they are completed by performing the following duties.
- Performs any assembly-type functions using hands and occasionally a hand tool.
- Operates blister machine.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform the job.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Operate manual and/or electric pallet jack.
- Use of shrink wrap machine.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Completes tasks as directed by the department supervisor with minimum supervision.
- Lift and move and stack boxes up to 10 lbs.
- Lift and move stack counter display up to 25 lbs.
- Lift and move floor display up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for 5 hours at a time without a break.
- Performs any related duties as needed by the department supervisor.
Requirements
- You may have experience in a manufacturing facility, but if you don’t that’s okay, we will train you!
- We prefer you have a high school diploma or a General Education Degree (G.E.D).
- You are a team player, thorough and detail-orientated, very observant, and have technical abilities.
Equipment UsedBlister machine, box cutter, hand and machine taper, forklift, pack mule, and other mechanical devices used in a warehouse.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
