As the Director of Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics for our division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient movement of products from our warehouses in California and Florida to our stores located across the Caribbean and South Pacific islands. Reporting directly to the Division President, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply chain operations, with a focus on replenishment buying and import/export logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the distribution network to ensure timely delivery of products to stores in the Caribbean and South Pacific islands.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations in California and Florida, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
• Lead a team of distribution professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category management, retail operations, and finance, to coordinate activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating new ideas and technologies as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and documentation requirements, working closely with customs brokers and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on distribution operations and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on distribution and logistics, preferably in the grocery retail industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations and processes, particularly as they relate to perishable goods and grocery products.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems, such as ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to California, the Caribbean and South Pacific islands as needed.
