We are seeking an individual from the local Student Program

to join our Cottonwood Manor Assisted Living team. As part of the team, the student

will perform various duties, as required, in a friendly and efficient manner

while maintaining a welcoming environment. The duties will vary, and will focus

on several areas within the community, to help foster learning and to complete

the student program itinerary. Join us today in providing excellent service to

Essential Functions

and Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident

information to ensure resident’s rights are protected. 

Operate paging/telephone system as required.

Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with

established policies and procedures.

Maintain current files – including list of residents by name

and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department

extensions, key personnel, etc.

Give directions/information to visitors, guests, and

residents, etc.

Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal

interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the

facility.

Foster a clean environment for residents, family, and staff.

Help coordinate and complete life enrichment duties.

Pass snacks and water to residents, based on schedule.

Help maintain a clean and safe dietary area.

Help dietary cook start meals, serve meals, and clean after

completion of meals.

Specific Requirements

Knowledgeable in the use of computers, e-mail, spreadsheets,

and document word processing.

As a minimum, attending school for their high school diploma

or its equivalent. Must be working with school to complete work program.
