Job Description:

Counseling Connection, a small private counseling agency with a 5-star rating on Google, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. CC has been serving the public for over 15 years and has a diverse client base from across the southeast Michigan area. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering person-centered therapy to a diverse population, with an emphasis on couple's therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and couple's therapy sessions
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress
• Uphold a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff

Qualifications:

• MSW, LPC or equivalent
• Experience in couples therapy preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
• Experience in crisis intervention preferred
