Position Summary
The Counseling and Education Center follows the principles of trauma informed care to create a safe environment for all staff, clients, and community partners. As the Office Administrator for our new Orchard Mesa office, you will be the first person clients interact with. By promoting the philosophy and mission of the Counseling and Education Center, your pleasant demeanor will set the tone for creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
The Office Administrator is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the office and its operations to ensure efficiency. This includes performing scheduling, billing, credentialing, quality assurance, and basic office management duties.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work as a team to proactively identify and solve problems.
- Professional customer service techniques when communicating and working with a wide variety of people from the community, clients, and staff.
- Adequate knowledge of HIPAA standards.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office systems.
- Ideally have knowledge of Electronic Health Record programs.
- Ability to learn new computer programs as needed with training provided when necessary.
- Office management skills as required for ensuring the front office runs effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task. Required to complete many tasks daily while being able to meet the public in person and over the phone.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions based on facts, deadlines, and knowledge of programs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
