Description

Are you seeking an opportunity to make a difference in peoples' lives?

Be a part of the 24 / 7 team providing residential supports to clients with mental health challenges in a residential setting.

Work is focused on helping them develop daily living skills and coping mechanisms.

Experience in working with this population preferred. Knowledge of, or desire to learn about, the needs and abilities of the people with mental health challenges.

Ability to deal with clients in all types of situations with patience, insight, and compassion required.

A 32 hour hour position is currently open, and it is fully benefited. Starts at $19 / hour with shift differentials. The team is also looking people interested in contracted positions who provide substitute coverage.

Valid driver's license, use of personal vehicle, and clear background required. Equal opportunity employer.

The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is a local community mental health center located in Middlebury, Vermont. Since 1959, CSAC has been an integral part of the Addison County community. The Counseling Service offers a wide range of professional mental health and developmental services designed to meet the needs of those seeking help. We are able to provide a multi-disciplinary approach that draws on the expertise of our staff, which includes persons trained in developmental services, substance abuse treatment, psychiatry, psychology, mental health counseling, social work, family th...erapy, and child therapy. Our goal is to help people live more productive lives in their communities. The following Mission Statement and Values were adopted by the CSAC Board of Directors at their October 9th, 1997 Board meeting.
