Job Overview: Performs administrative functions in support of properties General Manager.

Reports to: General Manager

Sales Coordinator Essential Tasks:

• Conduct self in accordance with As One Values and Mission, as well as Brand Standards
• Promptly answer telephone calls and communicate relevant account information to managers and departments.
• Type and process correspondence, proposals and contracts.
• Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests and amenities to relevant departments.
• Politely and professionally converse with clients and respond to all inquiries.
• File and organize copies of contracts and correspondence ensuring records are up to date.
• Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.
• Assist with ensuring RFP’s are responded to within a timely manner (4 business hours)
• Ensure all contracts follow As One policies and procedures
• Assist with posting charges, processing payments, and following up with client on experience.
• Assist with setting up and tear down of meeting space.
• Assist with development of on-site catering menu with Director of Sales
• Complete and follow all training as assigned.
• Assist with hotel marketing plan and its execution
• Attend community meetings and functions as requested.
• Attend all company and brand required Sales Calls. Attend in-person meetings as assigned.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel or sales experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working all shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Requires sitting for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, manual dexterity, kneeling or crouching.
