Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Director of Social Services to lead our team. As the Director of Social Services, you will oversee and coordinate social service programs within our organization, ensuring the well-being and support of our clients. Your role will involve managing crisis intervention, Medicare services, behavioral health programs, workforce development initiatives, and child welfare services.

Duties:
- Develop and implement social service programs that meet the diverse needs of our clients
- Provide crisis management support and intervention when necessary
- Supervise a team of social workers and support staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Collaborate with external agencies and community resources to enhance client outcomes
- Conduct workforce development activities to empower clients towards self-sufficiency
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in goal-setting and behavior change
- Oversee Section 8 housing assistance programs for eligible individuals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in all social service activities

Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Proven experience in crisis management, Medicare services, behavioral health, and child welfare
- Strong background in supervising social work teams and managing complex programs
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and counseling approaches
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
