Position Details
Climax-Scotts is seeking a highly qualified teacher to teach an elementary class beginning - school year.
This position is a permanent full-time position.
Applicants must have a valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate and meet all federal and state requirements to be highly qualified.
Our team has a positive school culture and a very supportive administration, staff, and community. Collaboration among all colleagues in a positive manner is essential to the team here at Climax-Scotts Elementary.
Duties :
Provide instruction and facilitate learning
Follow lesson plans and maintain a structured learning environment
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students
Manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Experience :
Previous experience in elementary education preferred
Strong mentoring and instructional design skills
Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a classroom setting
Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students
