Description

Summary: Performs work as it pertains to the daily operations of the FCPRD concession stands, pool, and/or program. Work is performed under the general supervision of the acting manager.

• Processes daily cash transactions of the concession, pool, or program operations;
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and positively with peers, visitors and callers;
• Handles inquiries concerning the concession stand, pool, or program;
• Adheres to FCPRD policies and procedures;
• Assists personnel as requested by acting manager; and,
• Other relative duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications

Requirements:
Certifications, Licenses and/or Registrations: Required to obtain a Serve Safe certification within allotted time.
Experience:

• Incumbents must be at least fifteen (15) years of age by application date;
• Knowledge of safe food handling preparation and procedures.; and
• Retail experience preferred.

• Able to communicate effectively with staff and the public;
• Possess positive attitude and demeanor;
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including: nights, weekends, and holiday; and
• Able to understand Frederick County, Parks & Recreations policies and procedures.
