Greenville County Records Division is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and self-motivated individual to join our team. This individual will provide specialized clerical and administrative support for criminal justice agencies. Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations. Review and processing of law enforcement reports; performs data entry functions involving various computer applications to include entry and updates to police reports. Verifies accuracy of entered data and processed documents; conduct research for criminal justice agencies; performs customer service functions regarding department/division operations. High school diploma or GED required. Considerable experience in an administrative/clerical field or any equivalent combination of education and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities. Exercises judgment in applying established County policies and procedures relative to Public Safety/Records Division. Must be able to type at a corrected rate of forty to fifty words per minute. NCIC Certification will be required after completion of Introductory period. Shift, holidays, and weekend work required. Position is for 3rd shift (10:30 p.m. to 07:00 a.m.)
