General Summary:
Under the supervision of the County Administrator/Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Provides administrative support to the Commissioners and Administrator/CFO including preparing agendas, minutes and board agenda packets for various Board committees, sub-committees and other meetings and assisting and coordinating special projects. Attends Board and committee meetings as the Deputy Clerk to the Board. Compiles and prepares reports, grant applications, special tributes, and resolutions. Prepares correspondence as assigned or on own initiative, and performs various other central office administrative support functions.
Employment Qualification:
Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent in business management, communication, public administration, office management, accounting or related field.
Experience: Three years of progressively more responsible administrative experience including substantial experience with computer software programs. Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Google Apps. Prefer some experience in County government.
