The Bistro Is Hiring Barista

Award-winning Courtyard Marriott property located in the heart of downtown Boone, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement. The Bistro offers guests and locals a casual dining experience, with healthy and fresh, made-to-order breakfast and dinner options, including a full service bar and 24-hour Starbucks. The Bistro also offers full-service catering options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as an open bar, for groups using the meeting space facilities. We are searching for experienced baristas

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso and other beverages

• Foster relationships with guests

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar

• Process credit card transactions

• Receive and restock inventory

Requirements

• Amazing customer service skills

• Ability to operate necessary equipment including coffee makers, grinders and espresso machine

• Fantastic communication skills

• Ability to stay calm but move quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to multitask

• Passionate about coffee and tea

• Barista experience is a plus
