About Us :

Covalent Activewear is a dynamic and growing company specializing in wholesale apparel goods. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations.

Job Description : The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the overall management of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and effective handling of inventory, shipping, receiving, and facilities maintenance.

This role is critical for maintaining the seamless flow of goods, supporting the company's profitability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Warehouse Operations Management :

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Proactively identify and address safety concerns for warehouse personnel to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with sales patterns and trends, ensuring accurate stock counts.
  • Schedule and conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy and control.
  • Oversee the management of supply chain purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
  • Supervise and schedule all warehouse personnel, optimizing productivity and operational efficiency.

Shipping and Logistics Management :

  • Oversee all aspects of pick, pack, and ship operations for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Verify inbound shipments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and all freight movements to and from the warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and freight service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Inventory Control and Analysis :

  • Implement and maintain tight inventory controls to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
  • Schedule and manage regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate inventory levels, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for replenishment.
  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and low-stock alerts, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.

Staff Supervision and Development :

  • Provide high-level supervision, coaching, training, and mentoring to warehouse staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Make employment decisions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion, and transfer of warehouse personnel.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring staff adherence and compliance.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, promoting teamwork and a positive work culture.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate inventory data and make informed decisions on stock replenishment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows and exhibitions.
