Scope of Work:

The duties listed below are intended only as anillustration of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of dutiesdoes not exclude them from the position.

• Paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of building.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Study maintenance request schedule and estimate hours required for completion of assignment.
• Adhere and enforce safety regulations.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet schedules.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Attend to basic repairs and routine maintenance duties including light bulbs, smoke detectors and batteries, painting, property cleanliness, etc.
• Change locks.
• Communicate and make recommendations to supervisor on repairs beyond capabilities.
• Assist in verification of major repairs by outside services.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and safekeeping standards for all tools and materials.
• Maintaining documentation and maintenance for company vehicles within deadlines. 
• Respond to all alarm calls and provide emergency coverage for all locations.

Education:

• High School (required).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen prior to start date.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routinereports and correspondence. Ability tospeak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to apply common sense understandingto carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involvingseveral concrete variables in standardized situations. Fundamental knowledge of purchasingprocedures and materials management required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations helpful.

Job Type: Full-time (Non - Exempt).

Compensation: $23.25 USD per hour.
