Full Job Description

Are you ready to take on a new challenge and be an integral member of a close knit group of dental team members? Our team is looking for a self motivated, highly organized, task oriented individual to help facilitate the best care we can for our patients.

With a team member opting to step away from dentistry to be with family, a rare opening has opened up to be a part of our team. Specifically we need a pragmatic individual that is comfortable answering the phones, checking patients in and out and the basic front office duties to help with patient flow.

Responsibilities

To excel in this position you must be highly organized and articulate when speaking with patients. Although it is a fast paced environment, the systems in place will allow you to deal with any situation that requires your attention. If you are self motivated and are comfortable holding yourself accountable, this position will be a fun challenge that feels natural for you. For the right individual, this position could lead to a leadership opportunity as the the current manager is nearing retirement.

Specific duties

  • Modeling team culture, values, standards and best operational practices. Expectations will be clear and obvious.
  • Understand and be a part of patient flow systems including Scheduling, Treatment Presentation and Collections. This is an important part of your daily expectations. Being proficient in these duties is a must.
  • Show proficiency and adherence to cash management and accounting protocols
  • Embrace the attitude of the "Red Carpet Experience"
  • Importance of keeping commitments and open communications with dentist and manager.
  • Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; addresses others professionally and respectfully
  • Report weekly to Dentist detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, clear performance goals, and effectiveness of systems
  • Be supportive in team goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using dental scheduling systems like Dentrix
  • Understanding of Dental Billing and Insurance Procedures is a big advantage.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
