JobSummary

Asa Donor Specialist, you will be involved in donor screening, customer service,and whole blood collection. Your responsibilities will include assessing anddocumenting the vitals of presenting donors to determine eligibility,performing blood collection (phlebotomy), and providing excellent customerservice and pre/post-donation care as needed. You’ll work alongside other specialistsand attend regular staff meetings and trainings.

Inaddition to the above, you will be responsible for labeling all bloodcollection materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, andmaintaining appropriate collection site records. While not required,specialized training beyond high school, such as phlebotomy, nursing assistant,medical assistant, or EMT work, will make you an ideal candidate for thisrole.

We are seeking a DonorSpecialist who is organized, steady under pressure, and capable of beingflexible regarding varying shifts and traveling to different collectionsite locations.

Qualifications

Educationand Experience

• High school diplomaor equivalent
• Prior experience inphlebotomy, customer relations, or a similar healthcare environment is preferred.

Licensureand Certifications

• Valid driver’slicense
