Job Description Schedule Information : Days and evenings, determined by student class schedule; weekends possible Hours Per Week : Up to 15 hours per week, hours will be flexible Responsibilities Assist students in preparation for their exams and other coursework in nursing program Provide supplemental tutoring in nursing content, specifically Pharmacology, Fundamental Nursing Concepts, Pathophysiology, and Adult Health Review test-taking strategies in preparation for course exams and licensure exam Support students' concept mastery in review of theory content Assist students with study and time management skills to promote success in coursework Maintain required documentation of supplemental instruction sessions Provide guidance and support during the adjustment to the nursing program Qualifications Educational Requirements : Successfully completed accredited nursing program and passed NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Experience Requirements : Working clinically as a registered nurse preferred.
