Coverage is Hiring an IT Coordinator Near Chicago, IL
- Monitor and review tickets with the MSP for timely resolution and repeat issues.
- Support active technology related company contracts and services.
- Support and maximize value of existing vendors – ISPs, Phone systems, phone lines (PRI/POTS/SIP trunks)
- Work with MSP to schedule outages, upgrades, and patches/updates.
- Support Implementation of any Hardware & Software Selection
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery on time and on budget.
- Participate in the IT decision making process with Company Executives
- Assist our developer(s) with defining and delivering reports, best practices, exception reporting, etc. for our line of business applications.
- Work with end users to improve existing workflows in existing applications.
- Document internal process around hardware and software usage.
- Assist with defining needs and evaluate software alternatives for line of business processes.
- Work with the CFO, other executives, managers, and other to identify needs and develop a budget.
- Proven experience in IT management of a similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Vendor management – some or all of the following: MSP, ISP, phone systems, web developers, software companies, surveillance, printers, mobile phone including MDM, etc.
- Windows Operating Systems Administration – Server & PC
- Networking experience including firewalls, switches, VPNs, etc.
- Ticketing System usage
- Ability to learn business workflows and apply technology for efficiency and quality improvements.
- Domain and Website Management
- Phone system management.
- Certifications such as COMP TIA , Cisco, etc.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems management.
- Database querying and reporting specifically with Microsoft SQL Server
- SAP Crystal Reports
- Jira Service Management
- Salesforce Administration &/or Development
- Trello Workspaces
- Zendesk Ticketing System
- Development including Python, Visual FoxPro, and PowerShell
