As we continue to grow and evolve at Covercraft Industries, we seek a proactive and innovative HR Manager to join our team and lead our HR initiatives to new heights for Wichita Falls, Texas, and Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. This position is onsite, out of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; travel to Wichita Falls, TX, is required. Relocation Assistance Available.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who can function as a strategic guide, providing consultation and solutions on the people aspects of the successful execution of business plans and initiatives. With a keen ability to navigate the organization and collaborate effectively, the HR Manager provides coaching and guidance to managers and employees across a spectrum of talent management programs including employee relations and engagement, team performance and effectiveness, learning & development, total rewards, workforce planning, and organizational design & development.

Human Resources Manager

Reports to the Director, Human Resources, Denver, Colorado, United States

Fulltime Exempt.

Location: Onsite based out of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Travel: Approx. 30% commute between Wichita Falls, TX, and Pauls Valley, OK.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders on business initiatives by understanding the organization's objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors. Participates in planning processes and promotes best practices, providing leadership for workforce planning efforts.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses human resources challenges and opportunities, which may affect the execution of business plans.
  • Consistent with the overall HR strategy, drives organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and skills assessment and development.
  • Coach business partners in career development, leadership, and management practices.
  • Assists in the development of strategies for facilitating organizational and behavioral change. Performs needs assessment, analysis, and consulting on organizational issues; makes recommendations on organizational design and development.
  • Works with the GM and senior management in the development of high-quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics, which may include developing effective skills and competency structures, and systems in support of business goals and talent requirements.
  • Guides management toward the application of appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals creates meaningful development and career plans, and tracks progress.
  • Oversees local performance management process, providing relevant coaching and guidance.
  • Provides compensation support to leaders for salary actions, including annual salary reviews, promotions, and job-leveling solutions.
  • Investigate basic and complex employee relations issues and initiate appropriate resolution; recommend and implement effective solutions consistent with our vision, mission, and cultural values, as well as applicable policies and laws.
  • Supports overall talent management, recruitment and staffing plans, compensation structure, and onboarding efforts.
  • Manages the approval of local people operations transactions submitted for processing; prepares reports and analyzes data available through the current HRIS.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Management or Organizational Leadership preferred.
  • 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience in HR with a working knowledge of the full talent management platform, with specific emphasis on team development and learning solutions, performance management and coaching, employee relations and engagement, change management & organizational design.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to establish trust and build productive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and tactics, with an ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges.
  • Accountable, and self-motivated to achieve results with an ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Recognized as a key resource for employees and managers who are approachable and effectively facilitate coaching conversations.
  • Excellent facilitation and oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training to all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to travel between Wichita Falls, TX and Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, 1 to 2 times per week or upon business needs.
