Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities as well as physical disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Follow care plans and document daily activities and observations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must be compassionate, patient, and understanding
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
