SUMMARY OF ROLE

Manage, execute, and report on all dues-related processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage and execute on all annual dues renewal processes and procedures including disbursement, late fees, suspensions, and terminations.
  • Manage and execute on all components of the group membership program.
  • Manage installment plans and dues waiver requests and processes.
  • Manage membership (invoice) changes related to newly designated members, status changes, chapter changes, category changes, resignations, etc.
  • Stay accountable to all renewal deadlines, working closely with the membership team to execute on core deliverables.
  • Manage and track data, runs reports, manage queries, make updates, and ensure accuracy of all data.
  • Develop, regularly update, and maintain internal SOPs to ensure accuracy with regularly changing regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and recommend adjustments and improvements on an ongoing basis to optimize results.
  • Monitor and report on dues collections, renewals, resignations, terminations, and new joins.
  • Report on performance and resulting revenue impacts to the organization.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality of work.
  • Maintain current knowledge of membership dues structure and the various categories and statuses of affiliation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in regulations, polices, and procedures related to dues and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
  • Support the membership team’s overall work in optimizing member benefits and member value proposition.
  • Support internal and external audits, as needed.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLSET, & ABILITIES

  • Three years of experience working for a membership organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline, preferred
  • Proficient with customer relations management systems, NetForum preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skill with a service orientation
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail
  • Independent, solution oriented, team player
  • Experience documenting policies and procedures
  • Able to independently prioritize projects, organize and plan work to meet deadlines
  • Able to be pivot and adjust to changing priorities
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
